Events &
Ceremonies

This is where the work happens in person. COSOS hosts ceremonies, retreats, and community gatherings open to anyone ready to show up.

What is a Sweatlodge

An ancient practice. A living community. Right here in Albany. The sweat lodge ceremony is one of the oldest forms of communal ritual on this continent.

At COSOS, we practice it as it was intended, as a genuine gathering of people willing to show up, sit together, and come out the other side changed.

About The Ceremonies

Every ceremony held through COSOS is rooted in the understanding that direct experience is the only teacher that actually works. You can read about transformation. You can think about it. You can talk about it. The ceremony is where it happens.

Private ministerial sessions exist for the person who needs more than a group setting can offer. Your specific situation. Your specific questions. Your specific path. Nothing generic, nothing recycled. A real conversation about where you are and what it actually takes to move forward from here.

Sweat Lodge Ceremony

A guided sweat lodge ceremony rooted in traditional practice. Heat, darkness, prayer, and presence, the sweat lodge has been used for centuries as a tool for purification, clarity, and renewal. No experience necessary. Just a willingness to show up.
